A three-month pregnant cow couldn’t able to breathe and got recovered after giving a prior treatment by the government veterinary doctor who operated and removed a plastic bag filled with 1.5 kg of rice from its stomach.
Raman is a milk vendor from Chittoor who found one of his cows is much disturbed after he found change color on its swollen stomach. The animal struggled to breathe and couldn’t able to eat as well.
When the nearby government veterinary clinic unsuccessful with their treatment. So Raman took his cow to the Vellore government veterinary clinic on Old Bengaluru Road where Dr. Ravi Shankar found the blockage in the windpipe and treated the animal by pulling out a plastic bag filled with 1.5 kg of rice from the cow’s stomach. Earlier, Dr. Ravi Shankar also saved five pups from the womb of its mother who was met with an accident and killed.
“The complete operation scheduled for one long hour and the cow came to a normal state after the treatment”, Dr. Ravi Shankar stated.
