The statements included, that at present there are many laws and environmental policies which are already a pressure, causing damage and is a threat to the environmental, human, and animal habitat to a minimum extent. Amid these already existing pressure, the changes to the EIA draft 2020 has sparked concerns in the mind of people.

However, The statement pointed out that, setting up heavy industrial areas by destroying natural resources isn’t development and this endeavor will eventually dismantle the future of our generations to come and the democratically elected government shouldn’t do it all.

Changing and releasing the draft for a whole nation in English and Hindi alone isn’t the right way since everyone must know the draft by their native languages. While we are still fighting and struggling to lead a normal life with the pandemic Coronavirus, it isn’t necessary to pass this law by the central government.
