The state government is pondering to shorten the syllabus of school if the reopening is announced beyond July due to a pandemic coronavirus crisis.
This sudden change is being discussed was contemplate based on the officials of government as well as private schools as they felt that it will be much difficult for the teachers to cover up the full portion if 2020-2021 academic starts by the month of August.
KA Sengottaiyan, School Education Minister also stated on Wednesday that slashing out the syllabus is on the air and it will be completely decided by the expert committee. Parents and academicians completely disagree on the early opening of schools, stated by a senior representative from the Directorate of School Education. “Even it the state government makes up the mind to open, It’s completely on Central government to give permission on it”, he said.
