Did you ever wonder what would be the total volume of the Coronavirus that is spread throughout the world? The size of a cricket field? A swimming pool?
Well, you would be shocked to hear that the Covid-19 virus in the whole world can fit inside a single cola can.
Shocking isn’t it!
Christian Yates who is a math expert from Britain recently discovered that there are 2 quintillions or two billion billion SARS-CoV-2 virus particles in the world at once.
Yates used an average of about 100 nanometers, or 100 billionths of a meter as the diameter of the virus and then found out the volume of the spherical virus.
He assumed the gaps the spherical particles will leave when put together, even after subtracting the value the total was less than a single 330 ml cola can.
It is almost unbelievable that all the pain, suffering, and deaths that resulted all over the world can constitute just a few mouthfuls. In his research, he also took into consideration the number of human beings who were affected by the virus. It was found that each day more or less 3 million people got infected
