First Contestant of Bigg Boss 3 revealed

After the success of first two seasons Tamil Nadu’s most popular TV show – Big Boss. Actor Kamal Hassan will be back to host the third season this year very soon.

After much speculation, the first actor to get confirmed now is Madhumitha Moses.

She shot to fame in a Tamil Movie name OK OK. She appeared in Vijay TV’s comedy show called as Lollu Sabha. She is popularly known as Jangiri Madhumitha.

The second contestant who is confirmed by the husband is VJ Anjana Rangan, her husband and Kollywood actor Chandramouli has confirmed the news via Twitter.

Both Madhumitha and Anjana are prevalent in her own ways. Anjana has a huge fan base in social media. She anchors popular shows in Sun Music from last 10 years but is now a host in Zee Tamil hosting reality shows.

Ever since season three is announced there was a list of actors/actresses speculated to be participating in this show. The list included actor Prasanna, actor and comedian powerstar Srinivasan, superstar T.Rajendran, actress Priya Anand etc. But all have denied their participations.

The show will have 15 participants, 60 cameras all put together in 1 house in Poonamalle, which is located on the outskirts of Chennai city.

Big Boss Tamil was inspired by Big boss Hindi which is hosted and run by Hindi superstar Salman Khan. However, the reality show was originated in Netherland by Endemol under the show name “Big Brother”.

In the shows, the participating contestants are all locked up in one big house for more than 100 days and are given tasks after tasks to save them from elimination. They continuously monitored by in-house cameras, personal audio microphones and are given a crossbody bag to carry at all times during their stay.

Big boss Tamil became an instant hit and was a runaway success. The first and second seasons winners were Arav and Riythvika.

Some of the participants such as Harish Kalyan, Raiza Wilson went on the make it big in the silver screen.

The show hosted by Star Vijay TV Chanel and is aired from 9:00 to 10:30 pm on weekdays and 8:30 to 10:00 pm on weekends.
