With this regards, a private software company in Tiruchirappali, Tamil Nadu has joined hands to donate innovative humanoid robots to the hospitals of the state government.
In order to make sure that there are zero human interactions with the Covid-19 patients, the Tiruchipalli City Hospital is going to utilize the robots in the isolation ward. The robot will be used to serve food and medicine to the affected patients. As per reports, one robot each will be assigned to the nurses’ station and doctor’s station.

Although, the hospital authorities are awaiting for the district administration’s permit so that they can use the technology vehemently.
Since there are risks of various hazards to doctors and nurses like long working hours, pathogen exposure, fatigue, psychological distress, and occupational burnout, these robots can help curb some of the issues.
The current status of Covid-19 is that the nation has recorded 1,024 cases of the virus where the numbers might go up. The number of cases currently in the world stands up to 7, 21,584.
