A bank CEO giftTrending his teacher ₹30 Lakhs in the form of shares who helped him survive his early career path.
All of us remember our teachers in some way or the other. We remember all the good things and punishments given to us while we were in school and colleges.
There’s no doubt when people say our teachers are the ones who have shaped our lives and they are the people who have groomed to be whoever we are today.
Here is one such case where a teacher helped Mr. Vaidyanathan who is currently an MD and CEO Of IDFC First bank Limited. Mr. Vaidyanathan is an Engineer from the Birla Institute of Technology. After completing his studies he was not able to attend interviews because he didn’t have enough money to travel and attend interviews.
His Math teacher Mr. Gurdial Saroop Saini helped him by giving him Rs. 500 so that he can travel and attend interviews. After that Mr. Vaidyanathan wanted to thank his teacher for his kind gesture for years as he has been climbing the success ladder.
As a Thank You note he has gifted his teacher 1 Lakh equity shares which is worth Rs. 30 Lakh for lending him Rs. 500 so he could travel for an interview and start his career.
In Facebook, Mr. Vaidyanathan narrates his story in the post stating.
Mr. Vaidyanath was in search of his Math teacher but unfortunately, his teacher had moved his jobs and he wasn’t able to reach out to him. Recently through his former college, he got to know that his math teacher is residing in Agra. After getting to know that he just called him up and expressed his gesture and gratitude for his help.
IDFC First Bank Limited made a regulatory filing at the beginning of this month to the stock exchanges and a transfer of the equity shares was made to Mr.Vaidyanathan to his teacher for his kind gestures given by him.
After the post went up on Facebook everyone started commenting on the kind gestures of the teacher. Some went on to saying that teachers deserve more respect and they are the roots of our education and knowledge.
