The world has been going through the worst health crisis of pandemic Coronavirus which is rapidly multiplying and killing people all over the globe. The positive cases continue to pour in from all parts of the world.
According to a recent report from Meerut, UP. Corruption doesn’t seem to have taken a backseat.
Recently, A video went viral where the hospital staff was seen selling fake certificates which claimed negative for tests of COVID-19. According to TOI, the man was eventually the manager of the private hospital in Meerut.

The video shows, few people asking the man to provide fake their COVID-19 test reports and declare them negative so that they won’t face any problems for a week and his operation can be done hassle-free. They also offered Rs 2000 to the manager and promises him to give Rs 500 after the reports arrive.
After the footage was released in the media, authorities noticed and took severe action against the hospital. A police case has been registered against the manager for fraud under IPC section 420. The Meerut district magistrate has also suspended the hospital’s license and sealed it.
The chief medical officer said, A probe is also going on to find out, whether anyone from the district hospital helped the private hospital in securing fake test reports.
Uttar Pradesh state has a sum of 28,061 cases – 785 deaths and 18,761 recoveries, so far. And with corruptions taking place in the hospital, It is disturbing to see hospital staffs risking the patient’s life.
