HMG Basha donated Rs.1 Cr to rebuild A Hanuman Temple in Hoskote.
When it comes to humans there is no religion that is greater than Humanity. Likewise, A Muslim businessman donated land which is worth ₹1 Cr to rebuild A Hanuman Temple so that devotees can offer prayers comfortably.
HMG Basha, who is a resident of Kadugodi in Bangalore donated Rs.1 crore for the reconstruction of Hanumath Temple in the city. He witnessed devotees who were visiting the temple struggling while praying in the Anjaneya Swamy temple due to lack of space.
The trustees of the temple decided to renovate the temple. During the discussion, HMG Basha pitched in and told them he would donate his land and help them.
In Karnataka, Hampi has the world’s tallest Hanuman statue. But the Anjaneya Swamy temple in Bangalore will be marked very special because A Muslim man has sacrificed his piece of land and given it for the reconstruction of the temple.
Basha was reposted in News18 stating “I used to see many women struggling when they would make the rounds of the temple for prayers. Six months ago when the villagers decided to renovate the temple, I decided that I would give up a small portion of my land as that would make it easier for them to pray.”
Now the government has ordered the expansion of the NH45 to Sri Verranjeneyaswamu temple in Valagrupura.
By looking at this situation, the trustees of the temple asked HMG Basha to donate ‘One Gunta’ land because his land is very close to the temple. The president of the temple Mr. Byregowda assured that Basha will definitely help them as he is a regular guest for all the temple festivals so far.
HMG Basha was genuine enough and helped the temple by donating 1.5 guntas of land while he was asked for just one Gunta. So that the devotees can come and worship there with ease.
While all of us want to do something towards society and look for the betterment of the country and the people around us. There are some people who are doing great at it and while others are just spreading hatred among each other.
Looking at the great gesture by Basha. All the villagers have put up a banner of Basha and his family members. This small initiative is an example of communal harmony.
The construction of the temple has commenced and the foundation stone of the temple has been laid. The budget for the construction of the temple is about 1crore and it will be completed by January 2021.
