Earlier this year, he took a fitness trip to Thailand and later joined to shoot for his long-awaited film ” Maanaadu ” directed by Venkat Prabhu. While Simbu decided to satisfy his fans and focus fully on his career, that is when the Coronavirus hit, and therefore the shootings got postponed.

According to the sources, the recent news in the Kollywood industry is that the Maanaadu producer Suresh Kamachi has planned to produce a small budget film with only a few crew members.
Adding further, Kamal Hasan’s iconic psychological thriller ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ released in 1978, in which Kamal played a mentally disturbed youth, who instantly falls in love with the women he meets and then murders them brutally due to his childhood trauma. The audience will get to witness its sequel by next year, which will be directed by Bharathiraja’s son Manoj K Bharati and screenplay by the director Ram.
However producer Suresh Kamachi is also a director, So if all the things go as planned then Simbu would be collaborating with the 3 directors for this remake. Moreover, the ultimate announcement is yet to be made to the public, but sources also revealed that the announcement may come by the Deepavali Festival.
